Hi, I’m Dr. Rhett Jackson (but I go by Dr. Rhett so we are on a first name basis) and I grew up the youngest of seven children in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For high school, I attended Forest Hills Eastern, then completed my undergraduate degree in Exercise Sport Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I solidified my pursuit for a career in dentistry after a dental mission trip to Haiti in high school and being involved with Operation Smile in college.

Immediately after college, I went on to attend dental school at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed my doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S) degree in 2016. After graduation, I was an associate in the West Michigan area, prior to practicing full-time alongside my father, Dr. Bruce A. Jackson II, in 2022. In April of 2026, I purchased his office along with the practice of Dr. Alan Rosendall. While Dr. Rosendall has retired, Dr. Jackson is still practicing. I am fortunate to take over their practice(s) and honored to maintain the level of genuine care and support for patients that have seen these doctors for years and generations. I love coming to work everyday for the ability to: connect with patients and helping them achieve their healthcare goals, critically problem solving, and being around my amazing team.

I am actively involved in enhancing my dental knowledge to ensure the best techniques and equipment are utilized for patients. Since graduation, I have completed over 400 hours of continuing education seminars and courses in multiple aspects of dentistry including implants, endodontics (root canals), periodonticis, and orthodontics. Moreover, I am currently in a fellowship program through Ripe Global that is a two year long intensive clinical program aimed at doing advanced dental procedures. These courses have allowed me to be up to date in both the art and science in quality dentistry for patients.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Lauren and our dog, Sawyer. My hobbies include: traveling, formula 1, cooking, watching movies,  trying new foods, meeting new people, and supporting local businesses.
